DON'T BUY A HONDA

Honda's sold in Indiana are not in compliance with state laws across the country. I got pulled over by the police when I moved to VA because my Honda Accord had no means for fastening a license plate to the front bumper. When I asked Honda about it, they said I had to fork over an additional $65. Luckily the cop just gave me a warning, otherwise this would have been even more expensive.

When I repeatedly asked Honda to waive the $65 fee because it was their mistake, they refused.

Every Honda that I have purchased (1995 Honda Civic, 2003 Honda CR-V, 2006 Honda Civic and a 2009 Honda Pilot) has come with a kit to attach a plate to front. I live in PA so I don't need them, but they provide them free of charge with the car. If you purchased the car used, maybe the original owner lost the plate kit.
