Cajun Charlie's is a terrible restaurant!!!

Cajun Charlie's Restaurant and Gift Shop 202 Henning Dr Sulphur, LA 70663 US My husband and I went to Cajun Charlie's, excited to relive our dating days. Both of us were raised in Louisiana, so we know our Cajun food. My husband ordered the buffet, while I ordered off the menu. I ordered a crawfish etouffe platter with fried catfish and a salad. The waitress, named Erin, looked annoyed and asked if I wouldn't just rather pay the extra two dollars and get the buffet too. "No," I told her, " I just want the etouffe." She looked aggravated and walked off saying she'd put the order in. While my husband ate various seafood (which he said was satisfactory) I waited on my salad. After nearly ten minutes in the nearly empty restaurant I looked over to see our waitress still goofing off and talking to other waiters and waitresses. Finally my salad arrived, with withered leaves and one wedge of tomato and some watery ranch dressing dumped on top. I shrugged it off and resolved that it wasn't that bad. Then she brought my entree and slammed it down in front of me. For $16 it was a platter of dry-looking etouffe with near-black looking crawfish. I took a bite that was lukewarm and had nearly no flavor. I took a bite of catfish and was assaulted by salt. I had to drown the etouffe in Tabasco sauce, to even get a decent flavor out of it. I would have sent it back --- if the waitress had bothered to come back to the table at any point in our dining experience. Finally she came back with drinks, as we were finishing our meal. I handed her the near-full platter and she asked why I hadn't eaten it. "Honestly, I didn't like it," I told her. "Well, sorry!" She replied sarcastically. My husband asked for the check and we decided not to make a big deal about the poor meal, and just pay the tab and get out of there. However, due to her horrible attitude and negligence we decided not to tip her. We walked out of the restaurant after paying and headed for our car. The waitress ran outside and flipped us off!!! My husband stormed back inside and demanded to see the manager. She told us, "There IS no manager!" My husband continued to insist on seeing the manager, until he had to yell at her to go and get him. He made us wait for ten minutes in the front of the restaurant before he came up to us and accused us of lying about the waitress flipping us off. She told him that she had merely waved goodbye to us. My husband asked him what he intended to do to make things right. He said he would "talk to her." My husband insisted we get a refund for such an insult. He asked us if we had already paid for our food. We answered yes, and he said no, no refund. My husband again asked what he was going to do to make it up to us. He said, "Look if you don't pay, you'll go to jail.I'm an ex-cop and I'll have you thrown in jail." My husband replied, "Are you threatening me?" The manager/owner/ "Charlie" said, "If you don't pay -- jail!!" We stormed out after I told my husband that that man wasn't worth arguing with. My husband told old Charlie where to go and what to do when he got there, and Charlie didn't like it too much and ran after us saying he'd lock us up himself, that he "didn't need no police!" "Charlie" of Cajun Charlie's has NO consideration for his customers and would rather accuse them of wrongdoing than fire a lazy waitress with a dirty mouth and a bad attitude.
