Profanity on the QVC Message Boards

QVC is a family oriented home shopping television network. They also offer online shopping and have a message board. The message board responsibility has been farmed out to a company called LiveWorld.

I peruse the message board daily and often come across explicit profanity in one of their forums. Using the links provided on QVC's website I register a complaint through the appropriate channels. Each time I receive a reply back from QVC customer service that states they will forward the email to the appropriate department. Occasionally the profanity is removed. More often the obscenities remain on the forum's front pages for days before they fall into the archives.

QVC is family friendly. However I would never allow a child near their website. There are no warning regarding adult content prior to entering the message board as a reader. If profanity is allowed to remain on their board an adults only warning needs to be present.
