Customer Service is crap!

I scheduled an apointment with Charter to have a DVR box installed. They had no appointments available after 5pm, so I had to take of half of an afternoon, at my expense. This would have been fine except, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! When I called they tell me that the tech tried to call, got no answer, so he cancelled my appointment. I was at home the whole time. I never received a call, I didn't miss a call, I didn't get a message from this mysterious Tech either. So, Four calls later to Customer service I finally get a supervisor, who tells me that they believe the technician, so I must be lying. I can't beleive the gall of these people. My third call was with a RETENTION rep, She told me it would be no problem to have someone here at 5:30 the next day. But, no one showed. So when I called (4th time) they gave me the supervisor. she informed me that they would do nothing to make this convenient for me and that they don't believe I was home. I'm waiting for another supervisor to call me back, but I don't have any faith that this resolve my issue. Charter on Wikipedia is listed as the worst cable company in the US. I believe it. Horrible Horrible, HORRIBLE!
