Palmer Salmon Insurance are scam artists

im getting scammed by the pre authorized payment.. they take out money out your account even after you have cancelled your insurance.. beware as they tell you they will reimburse you and send you a cheque that is less than a quarter of what they take out..

This is suppose to be a broker and they do not try to find you the best rate.. they actually try to get the highest rate from you as i just switched to another insurance company and i just saved myself 20%

This is absurd.

It takes time to cancel an insurance policy. It is not as simple as telling your broker to cancel a policy and it is over. Signed cancellation requests are required and then they need to be sent to the insuring company. Based on this it only makes sense that if you are on monthly pay it make take a bit of time for the payments to be cancelled.

You would have been reimbursed for any over-payment that you made - That being said you were likely charged time on risk for however long in between payments that your vehicle was insured - Hence why what you got back was slightly lower than your installment.

The staff at Palmer Salmon are there to help you get the best possible rates that they can. I know personally how this staff will go over and above what is required of them to keep their clients happy.

They are the best brokers I've ever dealt with!

I have insured with this company for over 25 years. They seem to have the best rates in Calgary and the people at their office are great to deal with. I don't believe there is any merit to the earlier complaint on this page. I don't think they would have so many satisfied customers if they were truly trying to find the highest rate... That just does not add up.

the individuals that run this firm are of the highest integrity in the City of Calgary. I as well as many others have worked with them and can rebutt this statement. There is obviously a misunderstanding because the firm he claims are scammers are anything but!!!
