ripped off/ delaying car repair

I ordered calipers for a 2004 Toyota 4Runner from partstrain june 12,2008 over the phone.They said no problem....we can get that to you in 4 days at the latest. The next time i called was june 18,2008.Customer service said it will be 7 to 10 days. I repeated what they said earlier"4 Days"

The man said sorry about that,it will be there by june 22,2008.I called back on june 21,2008 to track my order. The lady said "I am sorry we cannot get that part,We are still looking for it" Meanwhile i have a car being driven with a frozen calipers.I said...Give my money back...I need to find these parts somewhere else.The lady said i will have it back in a couple days...I went to the bank...NO MONEY...NO PARTS!I need that money to purchase the parts somewhere else. I called partstrain today,June 23,2008...The lady said "that will be 7 to 10 Days to get the money refunded"....This company is a scam!Now they want to make interest off my money...meanwhile i get to drive an unsafe car beause i have over 325.00 tied up with parts train. I can't take their word for anything because they can't get their own story straight.I can't help wondering how much money they make everyday in interest when THEY DON"T DELIVER THE PARTS OR REFUND THE MONEY.Who knows when i will see the money again or repair the car.This is my first time i have used PARTSTRAIN...BUYER BEWARE!!!

UPDATE: I went to the bank today to fill out documents to recover the money that parts train is withholding.I ordered the calipers at a local parts store for a higher price but they will be delivered to me the next morning. I came home to an email that is now saying the parts were sent through UPS today!...these are the parts they said they cannot find anywhere and i canceled out the order on june 21,2008

Even though it was canceled on the 21st they some how found these parts and mailed them on the 24th...I called and told the lady too late...I want my money back...She said i have to accept the shipment and then make a return...I said no way,i am not handling the parts...I told her to call UPS and cancel it...she said she cannot...I think i was talking to someone in INDIA....THIS COMPANY IS A NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH! I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK! I AM NOT PAYING FOR AN ORDER THAT WAS CANCELED THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN!They are the one that stated they cannot find the parts! I CANCELED ON THE 21st...They sent me an email on the 24th saying it was sent today! I would like to know WHO IS RUNNING THIS CIRCUS??? AGAIN: BUYER BEWARE!!! This was supposed to be a 4 day delivery according to them...I now have 13 days invested so far and over 325.00 dollars for parts i do not have. I am predicting it will be well over 30 days to straighten out their mess.

July 3,2008- I called UPS and explained to them the order from parts train was canceled...Do not continue to ship it.The man i was talking to said they are delivering it anyway...I said that i refuse the package because i canceled that order due to partstrain statement that they cannot find those parts. UPS said all i have to do is call them when the parts arrive and they will come back and pick it up the same day.It arrived june 27,2008...I called soon as i got home to refuse it. They promised to pick it up by late evening.I called on the 28th a couple times...again the same promise...I called several times on june 30th and finally on july 1st after talking to two different supervisors and about 9 phone calls total it was picked up.I went to the bank again yesterday July 2nd to continue my claim.The money is supposed to be refunded but i don't have it yet.I repaired my car with parts from a local store...Car Quest! They got my parts within 24 hours.I fixed the car and i am waiting for a refund.I started that original order on june 12th which parts train stated it will arrive 4 days. It is now July 3,2008....Buyer beware of PARTSTRAIN AND THEIR PARTNER UPS!They will wear you out! I will never do business with these two companies again.My parts store will be CAR QUEST and my shipping company will be FED EX.

Update...It is now August 7,2008...I filed a complaint with the bank Visa...Partstrain has their merchandise but they are still trying to charge my account 25.00 for handling....Mind you,they haven't returned the money yet! They think they can keep it for some reason.It is still not settled...I never did business with a son of a b..ch company like partstrain.

They are SCAMMERS!They tell you they can't get the parts several days after the order was placed so any normal person would cancel the order Due to partstrain statement,which i did cancel...The Lady at partstrain said ok...it is canceled,The refund will take affect in 3 Days....NOTHING BUT LIES!They wanted my email so they can email me when the money was refunded...Instead they email me a week later saying they will ship the parts. They lead you to believe your money will be returned in 3 days...It is August and No MONEY!
