On 6/15/08 ordered a xps1530 about $2000 and was giving a ship date of 6/26/08 the order was completed online with the the help of a dell rep to open a dell preferred account. On 06/20/08 I checked the status and it said the order was cancelled. I called and spoke to about 6 different reps and 1 said it was cancelled by dell financial and another said it was cancelled because a supply issue on the graphics card would delay the shipping and they were not able to get a hold of me(i have an answering machine nobody called) and Dell financial said there wasnt a problem with the account. I was told I would have to reorder it and no consideration would be given reference a ship date which was now 07/01/08. I reordered the laptop online and right to the last step the ship date said 07/01/08. I received my receipt and now it said ship date of 07/08/08. The next day I reconfigured the same laptop online and it still says 07/01/08. I called Dell and asked for a supervisor and spoke to a"manager" which I doubt she was. The basic message was it is what it is and I will be happy to help you cancel the order if you want. UNREAL. The Customer service is the worst and the accents made it difficult to understand some of them.
