request for closure of account

Dear Sir,

I would like to put forward following complaints for your kind notice and for immediate redressal;

I had submitted old cheque book & pass book of ICICI Vasantkunj branch to ICICI, Dwarka branch with a request to open an new savings account in the year 2005 and requested closure of my earlier optimum account in ICICI, Vasant kunj branch a/c no-000701006154 .

Accordingly, a new account no-0dsssss opend at ICICI, Dwarka Branch. And I am also using the earlier ATM card.

All my demat a/c related service charges were being transfered to my new a/c no-545 at ICICI, DWARKA. However, a/c no- 6154 was not being closed inspite of several requests & personal visit to your both the bank branches.

Recently as per advice of Dwarka branch manager, I again went to Vasant kunj branch on 12-04-2008 and submitted again account closure request and acknowledgement for which , signed & sealed by vasant kunj branch , is available with me.

However , to my utter surprise, debit balance is found recorded against a/c no-6154 & which is being increasing at alarming rate.

Moreover, I am told by your bank that my application for trading a/c is not being considered due to debit balance in a/c 6154.

I would now request you to please look into the matter & advise the concerened bank branches for the following:

a) Closure of A/c-no-6154. Since, all demat a/c service charges are already charged to my a/c no -545 , the debit balance should be reconciled & removed from the bank statement with immediate effect.

b) Issue of trading account as per my request.

c) Issue of revised bank statement correcting all above.

d) If required I may be issued new ATM card.
