high pressure sales pitch
|
etour and travel US I had a call from etour and travel telling me I was chosen for a $99.00 package (because I turned down a 498.00 package a year and a half ago) figure that one out. It was for 5 people to stay 7 nights (or something like that) free car rental, disney passes etc. etc.etc. When I said I was not doing anything on the phone and that there was something wrong with this. No one can offer a deal like that. The first guy who was quite nice passed me on to someone else. Wow - this fellow was so aggresive and very angry that I would not take the deal. He just kept talking (almost yelling) when I kept saying no. I finally hung up on him. very high pressured sales pitch. This complaint was suppose to come from me but this must of been someone elses. I just took a vacation that came from etourandtravel and I was very satisfied with the service. As a matter of fact I had a few issues and the employees I talked to settled my issues with flying colors. They are vacation specialist and hired by these time share, vacation-travel companys and they give you these perks thru whomever the company is that hired them. You know all telemarketers are pushy people because they have to be, in my case they just kept offering me more and more untill I DECIDED to take the package. In my case it was SummerBay Resorts which is a beautiful place in Orlando and of course they are going to try to pressure you into buying From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 22-Oct-09 21:15:44 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
