HP Laptops - worst possible service.

Compaq V6604AU HP India Mumbai, IN http://welcome.hp.com/country/in/en/welcome.html I bought a Compaq laptop in January and since the first day I had problems with the laptop which on repeated complaints was examined and admitted by company's service center. Yet they did not resolve the problem completely and later on laptop developed further problems and some keys on the keyboard stopped working. Despite many complains to the company (both online and on phone) no one bothered to respond or solve it. I have accumulated a no of case ids now, yet no solution. I finally mailed to the supposedly the main department (ced) for consumer complaints and issues and they didn't acknowledged or responded to my mails even. I have hardly used the laptop since the time I bought it and am unable to use it now for more than a month.
I am now frustrated with HP's service and am wondering how a brand/MNC of this stature is treating its customers. They are least bothered to solve the problem once they have sold the product. I have received much better service from Zenith and Acer. And have lost my trust on HP / Compaq. Would be really afraid to refer any HP product to anyone else. Want this to bring to the notice of higher authorities in HP as well as other potential and gullible customer of Laptops in India, so that they make a more informed decision.
