AS PART OF A COMCAST SPONSORED PROMOTION, I SIGNED UP FOR HIGH SPEED

INTERNET SERVICE. THE OFFER INCLUDED A RATE FOR SIX MONTHS AND A PAIR OF

REBATES. ONE REBATE OFFERED WAS FOR $30.00 ON THE MODEM AND THE OTHER

WAS FOR $49.95 ON THE BROADBAND SERVICE. I PAID $79.95 AND RECEIVED THE

MODEM AND THE SERVICE WORKS FINE. I APPLIED FOR THE TWO REBATES AND

WAITED PATIENTLY. THE SEPARATE APPLICATIONS WERE SUBMITTED IN JAN/FEB.

RECENT INQUIRY GOT THE FOLLOWING RESPONSE:"THE CHECK(S) WAS MAILED ON

MARCH 4 AND THEY HAVE SINCE EXPIRED AND WE ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO REISSUE

IT/THEM". NO CHECKS WERE RECEIVED AND THE CALL CENTER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT

THE CHECKS WERE NEVER REDEEMED. THE POST OFFICE IS USUALLY RELIABLE AND

IF THE CHECKS WERE SENT(AND THEY HAVE THE RIGHT ADDRESS) WE SHOULD HAVE

RECEIVED THEM IN A FEW DAYS.
