Dear sir,

I am submitting herewith my complaint aginst icici bank, a copy of mail as under:

I am sr citizen and i need ur help for the same.

I have deposited a cheque No. 047858 for Rs 5384/-drawn on Axis bank Banglore , Payable at all benches on 19.4.08 at ur Kalyan branch and wrongly mentioned my sons old student account No 020301000250 ( Parag Jain) which was closed long back instead of my existing account No. 028101512256.

On 25.4.08 when i cheeked credit of the same through ATM mini statement, I approached with written application to kalyan branch but ur desk officer not ready to take and said it will take 21day for clearance as it was out station cheque. You enquire after 21 days. On 10.5.08 i visited ur kalyan branch , desk officer check out status of above said cheque and told to wait for 2 3 days or contact to customer care service on phone or mail for prompt response and action.

On 15.5.08 again I visited ur branch and person concern told that we are unable to find status of cheque in suspense account u please come after 1 month and submit ur request letter..

On 21.5.05 ur officer said that cheque was realised on 23.4.08 and prepare a pay order but I could not find the status where it was sent.

Every time i met different desk officer and explain my problem and also mailing customer care manager and getting different version and story from both.

On 29.5.08 when i phoned ur desk officer Mr Pankaj he said ur pay order was sent to Aundh Pune branch and it was delivered ur Pune address and POD with branch .When I told him that my son left that place in 2005 than how it was delivered? and accordingly submitted letter in kalian branch for stop payment and issue a fresh P O and send to my kalyan address or credit in my existing a/c

If desk officer could find out the status on 25.4.08 seriously than the matter was solved that day only.. Now they are justifying their mistake and delay and its harassment to me.

Still I am waiting for credit / pay order for the same even after their assurance through mails several times.

I request u to kindly do a favor and take up this matter with ICICI bank authorities to improve their customer care service.
