WHEN I WENT INTO THIS BEST BUY LOCATION I WAS LOOKING AROUND IN THE COMPUTERS TO TRY TO SEE WHICH ONE I WOULD LIKE FOR WHEN I GO BACK TO SCHOOL IN THE FALL. ABOUT FIVE MINUTES INTO THIS BROWSING I HAD TO USE THE RESTROOM. WHILE I WAS IN USING THE RESTROOM 3 EMPLOYEES OF BEST BUY CAME INTO THE RESTROOM BUT DID NOT USE IT. THEN THEY LEFT THE RESTROOM AND TWO DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES ENTERED. I HEARD ONE JUST STANDING THERE WITH HIS KEYS JINGLING SO I DECIDED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON SO I LOOKED UNDER THE STAWL WHERE I SEE ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES LOOKING UNDER THE STAWL THAT I WAS USING, I THEN ASKED WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE FOR THIS AND HE IMPLIED TO ME THAT HE KNEW I WAS SHOPLIFTING. I THEN REPLIED WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM AND IM USING THE RESTROOM AND I AM NOT STEALING, I THEN FINISHED WHAT I WAS DOING AND WENT TO WASH MY HANDS WHERE I WAS ACCOMPINED BY TWO EMPLOYEES. ONE WENT IN THE STAWL WHERE I WAS AND SAID TO ME I KNOW YOU HAVE SOMETHING OF OURS, I IMPLIED I DID NOT I EMPTIED MY POCKETS WILLINGLY TO PROVE I DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING OF THERES. HE THEN SAID IT DONT MATTER WHEN I YOU LEAVE OUT THE STORE WE'LL GET YOU BECAUSE WE KNOW THE ALRMS ARE GOING TO GO OFF BECAUSE "WE KNOW HOW YOU BLACKS DO IT, YALL HAVE TO STEAL EVERYTHING", I BIT MY TONGUE. I SAID ITS BECAUSE IM BLACK AND YOUR WHITE DOES NOT MAKE US LESSER EQUAL I IMPLIED. JUST BECAUSE I AM OF A DIFFERENT ETHNIC BACKGROUND DOES NOT MEAN THAT I AM SHOPLIFTING OR DOING BAD.I THEN WALKED OUT THE STORE AND NO ALARM SOUNDED BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE ANYTHING, I DONT STEAL. REMIND YOU I HAD JUST GOT OFF WORK 45MINUTES PRIOR TO THIS.I THEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WAS NO MANAGER AVALIBLE THEY WERE ALL BUSY.I THEN LEFT THE STORE AND CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE WHERE THEY SAID THEY WOULD HANDLE THIS. RACIAL DISCRIMINATION NEEDS TO STOP AND STOP FAST. I DID NOTHING TO MAKE THESE EMPLOYEES THINK I WAS SHOPLIFTING, I WOULD LIKE FOR CORPORATE TO REVIEW THE SURVALIENCE TAPE AND SEE IS NTHERE ANY WHERE IN THE TAPE THAT WOULD MAKE YOU HAVE SUSPESIONS THAT I WAS SHOPLIFTING I WAS LOOKING AT COMPUTERS HOW DO YOU POSSIBLY STEAL A COMPUTER. I went to the store near my house to exchage a dishwasher that I purchased few days ago. The lady who look my order at the customer service desk did not look at me the right way and did not treated me right. But I just ignored it and completed the order signed, paid got my reciept and left. The diswasher was supposed to be delivered three days later. Onl the delivery date, I waited all day but did not receive any call from them. I called the store and gave them my order number. After 20 minutes of hold, the cutomer service told me that they will call me back because they can not find my order. Sure enough, thay lady did not just ended it there. She made sure to completely screw me up. The issue is now with Best But consumer relation department and I have'nt got my diswasher yet. I worked for Best Buy for almost 5 years and I was discriminated against as well. I am a black male, the top salesperson in the store and my GM brought in people who had never worked for Best Buy a day in their life and made them supervisors immediately. When I finally became a supervisor after being with Best Buy for 4 years, I was also payed less than these people who had never worked for Best Buy a day in their life. One of the supervisors a white gentleman, had numerous DUI and DWI charges against him, allowed to be on work release by the same GM and be the supervisor of the department at the same time. One of our white managers who ran operations, her daughter had taken hour long lunches and would leave her shift early on numerous occasions and not disciplined. Only when one of our white supervisors said that he would report it to corporate something was about to be done. By this time the young lady had found a job at Bank of America. One day I caught him in the act of being two faced and I said innocently of course "I thought you hated n (btw I never say that word I hate that word with a passion)..just yetserday you said the only good n is a dead n"..then I accused him of being two faced..well needless to say they are no longer friends! Just coz your coworkers pat you on the back and call you "friend" doesn't mean they don't see other blacks and mistreat them coz they don't like the way they look..or they think coz they're at work then everyone should be working if they have a job that is..wake up, most racist wear a mask and not just the hooded kind..
