AT&T is horrible

Phone/Internet/Cable AT&T US I had been with AT&T for a little over a year, in April, I decided to move back in with my parents, not wanting to break my 18 month "contract" that states I have to have cable, phone and internet with AT&T, which by the way was in the fine print, never signed anything, I decided to disconnect my parents current company and replace with AT&T. My parents wanted to keep their phone number so we went through weeks of being on the phone with ATT, finally got the phone number change and apparently my dad's name went with the phone number. I cancelled my previous phone number in order to avoid paying for 2 phone lines and turns out that "cancelled" my contract. I have to pay $275 because I "broke a contract" I still have all 3 services with AT&T however, the phone is now under my dad's name (I never authorized for this to happen). I followed instructions from the dozen people I spoke to, I followed the procedure they told me to follow and now I have to pay because people who work there mis-informed me.
