Vonage phone service

I specifically asked if I could sign up for service not to begin until Aug. 4th (next month) and I explained that I can not access the service until then. I just wanted to be sure it was ready to use on Aug. 4th. The rep "Doug" told me that this would all be possible after he transfered me to customer care.

Guess what? he transfered me to customer care and they told me that my card was already charged and that my service began that day and could not be delayed to August. Needless to say I canceled the account and vowed to make a complaint! (thank you complaint.com)
