Stolen Stuff from Air India Flight

I travelled on Air India flight 112 from Newyork to Delhi. I found out that my digital camera and cellphone were stolen from my bags. I wouldn't have checked in my hand baggage if AI staff didn't insist me to check that in for security reasons. I had put some artifical jewellery in checked-in bag and entire jewellery was disperesed all over when I opened my suitcase. One of my gold colored bracelet was broken into 2 piece that I can guess would have been confused with original Gold and Ruby bracelet. I spoke to the manager at New Delhi airport and according to her she never heard stealing ever happened on their flights. So I have no one to go to and ask for my claims.

I am feeling so awful about my first experience with Air India. I will never travel with them again because of financial loss and the way they compromise your security.
