McDonalds Manager Carol Lies.

I was in the above mentioned McDonalds on Tuesday, Jnne 28,2008 at 13:36 where I purchesed 3 large Value meals. A 6 piece chicken McNugget with a rootbeer, a double quarterpounder with a chocolate shake and a big mac with a vanilla shake. The total came to $20.72 for the 3 of us. Upon opening my order, I find my large fries are filled only a 1/3rd of the way full, and my 6 piece nugget is a 4 piece nugget. So I call and end up speak to manager Carol. I explain my shortage and she then asks me if I still have me reciept , I say I do. She tells me to bring it in and she will replace my whole order. I am very thankful and tell her she dosen't have to but she assures me it's no problem and I accept.She takes my name and adds it to a book. So I go in when manager Valerie is working. She looks up my name in the book and says I can only get 3 large fries and a 6 piece nugget. But I reetterate what Carol had told me so she takes me reciept to her manager and comes back with a snotty answer. We are not in the bussiness of replacing $20 some dollars worth of food. I again said Carol assured me. She said well then why don't you wait and talk to Carol. So I did. The next day she was on and I called. She yelled at me for getting her in trouble for trying to have $25 worth of food replaced. I said it was $20.72 and you said you would do it. She quickly denied everything. Then told me I was only to get 3 large fries, a 6 piece nugget and a couple of free vouchers for medium value meals. Wait, I asked, when did the vouchers get thrown in and why are they for mediums when I bought larges? I am a good paying customer. This comes down to principal for me. Carol promised me something then lied about it. I would have completely understood if she had told me she got in trouble by her boss and was unable to fullfill her promise. But to lie to me. That does not fly. I will not do any bussiness there until I recieve an apology for being lied to and cheated out of my meal. We would, as a family spend anywhere form $60-$100 dollars a week at that location. If they can afford to loose our bussiness in these tough economic times then so be it. But for now I'll be driving to Leader Hieghts To get my McDonalds Fix or I will just have to learn to love Wendy's, Arby's and Subway.
