Stolen Baggage

Vantage Corp's America's Best Value Inn in Oakhurst/Yosmite refused to take responsibility for the loss of my baggage improperly removed from my room by a cleaner and have impeded the investigation by failing to provide the Madera County police with requested contact information for said cleaner. As a result, I was without my baggage for the rest of my trip to Yosemite. The management seems to think that they provided compensation by allowing me to remain there at no extra cost for an additional day, but I had had no intention of staying there for an extra day, and only did so because they said that they would locate my baggage in the meantime. The nest day all I got back was some plastic bags with some of my stuff, but with many various articles missing. They also failed to return my backpack with all my clothes and sundry items. I think they owe me compensation, and should cooperate with the police in locating my backpack and its contents
