data back-up for personal laptop Geek Squad @Best Buy Geek Squad @Best Buy, 1280 Lexington Ave., #835, New York, Ne 10028 US www.geeksquad.com I paid $100 to save all my my email message on back-up. Nothing was saved since there were no emails in my archives. Instead they saved inconsequential stuff like Cookie files and empty file folders of what was on my desk top. The whole reason, which I explained when requesting service for my laptop, was to save all my emails as I needed to install restore discs to bring my laptop back to its original manufactured state, losing all data. I paid $100 for nothing but cookie files and empty file folders. I spoke with Zach who said Steve did the back-up. Zach was apologetic, and sympathetic but said under the agreement they couldn't help me. I knew I was out of luck retrieving any emails but they should have contacted me to see if I wanted to go forward once they saw there were no emails on my archive and that essentailly there was nothing to save.
