Domino's Check Policy
|
Restaurant Domino's Pizza Michigan Ave Cocoa, FL US As my coworker and I were working late at the office, we ordered pizza from Domino's for dinner. When she placed the order, the guy on the line was mentally all over the place. We gave him the order, he asked for the address, then he asked for the order again. He didn't ask what method we were using to pay for the pies. We had to ask him for the total price and an estimated delivery time. When they delivered the pizza, my coworker took her personal check to the door. The guy says the address on the check has to match the address on the building. She had her ID and the check matched her ID. Why would employees of a business have to have the business address on their checks? It is really strange. She called the location back and the manager tried to convince her that she told him she was using cash. Then he states that the policy is company-wide. I asked for the phone number to the regional manager. I called them (accoding to the store manager they are Sue and Ricky) and left a message for them to call me back. I also contacted corporate headquarters. They told me it was a franchised location. The guy at headquarters was going to have the owner contact me. He also stated that the check policies differ from location to location...contrary to the store manager's claim. I never heard back from anyone. If we went down to the Domino's location to pay for the order with a check, would the check have to reflect the Domino's address since that is where we are issuing the check? It's ridiculous. If Corporate thinks that it doesn't have to regulate a franchise because it doesn't reflect on the company as a whole, they are quite mistaken. Nobody here is going to go through the trouble of ordering anything from Domino's again. I used to like them...but I like Pizza Hut just as much...more so now.
