CDBA/ AIG

I purchased a insurance policy from Consumer Driven Benifits Of America, a subsidary of AIG. I cancelled it immedialty, upon recieving the policy, realizing that I had been sold a policy , that was totally misrepresented to me by the company IAB. When I contacted ADBA (AIG) they proceeded to blow me off and would not return my fee. It was only upon informing them that I had reported them, to The State of Michigan Insurance Fraud Division; that they responed to me and had my check in the mail that day. It took that level of anger/complaint to get my refund! But, the worst was yet to come. I recieved a letter from The State of Michigan, informing me that they had contacted AIG, and since my refund was given they would not proceed any further. They inclosed their correspondence with AIG. As,I read their response to the Fraud Dept of MI, I realized they had falsley represented the facts , of my case( yeah,what a surprise). They made such out right fraudulant claims that it was ridiculous. They actually told the State that my check had bounced, thus I never paid. Well, then WHY was I given a refund! I have written them and and demanded an apoligy. I am not holding my breath, instead I will probably have to contact the State again!

They all have a cease and desist by The Indiana Department of Insurance.
