We bought it at the camping show in February 2008.It's a 2009 rig. The dealer had it till the first week of June fixing things and waiting for parts. We left for Alaska the next week and on the way we noticed the bedroom floor had dropped 1" and the front of the trailer was flexing and separating. We called Heartland and they told us to bring it in. We stopped in Indiana (to one of their repair dealers - Capitol RV)on our way and they had Lippert come in and weld the frame which they said would do the job. The main manager said he was not satisfied with it and we were sent to the factory for it to be worked on. After one week in a hotel (paid by them)while they fixed it and we then left on our trip. But on the way back it was flexing really bad again. We called them and they said the trailer would not fall apart but bring it in on the way back and they would look at it again! So we did again. They said we had 2 options, take everything out so they could replace the side walls (where would we put everything, we had to empty it!)and pay for our own hotel because it would take about 6 weeks ,or bring it home ,empty it and bring it back at our expense. We ended up bringing it home and it took us 1 1/2 days to totally empty it and $1300 in gas to get it there and back. It took them 6 weeks to replace the side walls and then we picked the trailer up and brought it home. The trailer was not used from October 2008 to May 0f 2009. We camped from May till now. The camper is flexing again. They told us to bring it to Longview RV where we bought it to have them look at the underside and look at the frame. If they don't find any broken welds it will be our responsibility to pay for the work done by Longview to check it!! We love the unit but the frustration and stress has been unbelieveable. We have three sheets of things that have been fixed and refixed (68 to be exact!). We are tired of it. They said giving us a new rig was not and option. They have done extra for us BUT enough is enough. They gave us a extended warranty for the work they did in October which expires in Feb. What happens after that and it separates again and the side walls crack and we have water damage! We would like to hear from any one else who has a problem with their Heartland Fifthwheel rigs or their trailers.
