really a bad washing machine

This washing machine is the worst piece of crap I have ever owned. We bought the machine in august 2004 from the HOME DEPOT. The first year it was covered under MAYTAG in which we had several service calls. Now this machine was the highest priced maytag that home depot had on the floor at the time. 12 washing cycles, 720rpm spin,quiet feature, all the whistles and bells you could want. the milkstool had to be replaced twice, the timer once, the water pump three times,the main tub which is stainless steel the inner tube and all the seals ,bearings and what not. Ithink the only thing that is original is the motor. Anyway I have called MAYTAG and asked the customer service rep if they could help me out with this machine as far as getting a replacement. of course they say no and that I would have to take it up with my service people. Now the service people in which are MAYTAG DEPENDABILITY PLUS in which I purched the extended warranty from say the in order for them to replace the machine it would have to be serviced fir the same claim three times and on the forth they would consider replacing the machine free of charge. Well I have had about a dozen service calls in the last three years and of course none have been for the same claim but give me a break. we had a MAYTAG before this one and it lased for 13 years in which we raised 6 kids so you can imagine how much that machine went through. the only reason we bought a new one was because it developed a leak from the main seal and we figured since it was so old it was time for a new one. little did we know. all we want is to get a new machine because i think this one is a lemon and i think whoever reads this would agree.!!!!
