IGO Universal Auto Power Adapter is not universal
|
IGO Universal Auto Power Adapter Radio Shack US I purchased an IGO Universal Auto Power Adapter a couple of years ago for the cell phone I owned at the time. The Universal Power Adapter worked beautifully. I've since purchased a UT Starcom (Model PCS 1450) sold by Virgin Mobile as their "Super Slice" model cell phone. It's a great phone. The whole idea behind the Universal Auto Power Adapter is its ability to change the power supply "tip" so it will provide recharge power for a wide variety of electronic equipment. Unfortunately it does not provide the power "Tip" for my new cell phone. I have tried to get them to provide same to no avail. They have stopped responding to my requests. Radio Shack, the retail outlet for the IGO Power Adapter claimms it is powerless to make IGO provide the "Tip" (Incidentally there is a Tip for the UT Starcom 1400 cell phone, but not for the UT Starcom 1450 cell phone).
