Christmas disappointment

My children purchased a robe from Rose Garden Boutique an online retailer for Canyon Robes which are supposed to be of the best quality product, They gave me the gift on christmas morning and to my disappointment it did not fit properly, the side pockets were on my behind and the shoulder area was very snug and this was a large..My daughter had asked for and exchange and they refused and said their policy is a 14 day return or exchange which is nearly impossible with mail order let alone being christmas. What recorse does one have with these online retailers. The robe cost $125.00. My heart breaks for my children because it is an expensive gift for them to buy but one which they new, so they thought I would greatly apprecciate. I can't believe this business practice is allowed. Would appreciate any input for those of you who shop on line. Canyon robes is one that prides themselvse of having a lot of stars wearing them on their tv shows, I wonder what they would think?
