lets talk mischarging their $150.00 cancellation fee

Alltel Service plan, 3 Lg phones purchased Lets Talk 6341 Boulevard 26 Suite #500 North Richmond Hills, TX 76180 US letstalk.com 1/15/08 Letstalk.com charged us a $150.00 cancellation fee, received email & deduction on our checking account that same day. Email read that Alltel notified them that we cancelled one of three of our family lines. This line they said in which was cancelled belonged to our 8 month pregnany daughter in which doesnt live at home any more. After calling Alltel they said they had no records of us cancelling that line and our account with them was fine. During this time my daughters cell never stopped working. Well like most we live paycheck to paycheck and when this charge was deducted on the 15th, it caused items to bounce at bank. We where in between pay dates. Well after talking to our bank branch, there would have been money to cover few little thing we had out. And this wasnt the first time our branch has had to deal with this, he knew exactly what we wher talking about and told us what we need to do. Well it take a few days for Letstalk to deposit that 150.00 they charged so we were left w/no money until that Friday. They told us they would take care of any fees we were charged since it was their fault and for us to send in note from bank with full amount of NSF charges. We did that on 1/25/2008. We were told it would take 1-2 bus days to credit. It is now 1/30/2008 and when called to check status, we were told that accounting dept didnt have any record of it so we had to fax again. So we now have 2 fax confirmations that it was sent and still have not received our reimbursements for NSF fees. There is not complaint area on their web site to show if anyone else has had this problem. So be for warned before dealing with these people. I even asked if they could since proof of where Alltel contacted them and said that we cancelled that line. Guess what- we were told that first they were notified by phone, then she said electronic, and then that they didnt have way to send anything. So at this point we are contacting anybody we can to get this done and to warn other customers. I'm in the middle of dealing with them. I've been on the phone every day since I got my phone. I had to return it b/c it was very staticy. I had to exchange the phone and they screwed up my promotions. Their customer service department is a joke and full of incompetent people, right up to the managers. I requested to talk to a manager 5 times and left messages with then, but haven't heard from a single one yet.. I'm about ready to file a complaint with them to the BBB and other online complaint site. In hind sight, I would have saved more time and money getting the phone directly from the ATT store. I would never use them again and shame on Walmart to use such a low class company to handle their wireless services. LETSTALK.COM is an unethical, deceitful and borderline criminal company. The very bottom of the internet barrel.. If you buy a phone from them their return policy is: 'YOU MUST RETURN IT WITHIN 30 DAYS ...... OR BEFORE 30 MINUTES !!! OF USAGE..!!!! WHICHEVER COMES FIRST! TOTAL!!!' No I am not kidding folks. 30! .. thats 30 MINUTES.. Trust me, you will use that much time and more just trying to get them on the phone and their customer service people are rude and abusive ... positively the worst .. Their rebate procedures are a joke and full of traps.. The only good thing about their company is the website.. Good for researching your phone .. and then take my advice and go elsewhere.. 30 MINUTES .. 30 MINUTES!!!! OR YOU ARE STUCK..
