Isha Travels ... the worst travel agency you can choose


I have had such an awful experience with Isha Travels in Dec 2007.


The first travel agent I spoke to was Sajid Aryan in the 1st week of Dec and

he quoted for a confirmed itinerary on KLM. After making the payment through

Radha Krishnan and confirming my seats and meal options I was told that the

e-ticket will be issued in 2 days. Having not received a confirmation for

the next 5 days with the benefit of holidays, I finally checked online with

the confirmation number and to my disappointment KLM did not recognize it.

Later I was transferred over to Vincent who gave me a little hope by holding

the tickets on KLM for my onward journey which does not meet the timing

criteria I have requested and made payment for. Please note that during all

these days not a single representative called me regarding the updates.

After repeated calling, I have been issued an itinerary that brings me back

to an airport which I have not requested for.


30 days past the payment, I have not received a confirmed itinerary so far

and to beat that the ticket prices have gone high even if I were to consider

other airlines. I requested Vincent to put me on another airline in order to

compensate the pain and stress they have put me through. A good example for

me to prove that Isha Travels is only concerned about their benefits and

does not care for their customers is when Nagesh (manager) asks me to pay

additional $250 to purchase the ticket through another airline or the best

option suggested was to put me on a route that has 3 stopovers.


The most terrible part is they have 2 offices...one in Hyd and another in

NJ. The staff would not be able to transfer the phone calls. We need to take

the initiative to find our travel agent while they take their own sweet time

to cater to our needs. I have never had such a painful experience for

purchasing a ticket. Thanks to their inefficient and irresponsible staff.


I guess this is how Isha Travels deals with their customers ...payment

first, confirmation later (if you get lucky) and if you do not get a

confirmation please keep calling the travel agency of your choice which is

Isha Travels as we dumped all our valuable earnings in their hand by falling

for their trap of confirming false tickets. After a wait of almost a month

and when I realized that my travel date was nearing and nothing was being

worked even after my repeated phone calls. Whenever I did call them they

would ask me to be patient and give another 2 days to resolve this. When I

could no longer take it any further, I had asked Nagesh (manager), to call

me up as I was not able to reach on his given number. I got a email saying

that he is busy with other airlines stuff. He told me that he would get back

to me after he is done with that. And to top it all, he said that the

customer should not order him to call. That is when I asked him to cancel my

ticket right away and refund the money. I was very patient with these

Un-ethical morons for so long and they give an attitude to the customer.

When I told him to refund the money, he said that he would send the cheque

and asked me not to call him any further as he is very busy. I very well

informed him that I have no intention of calling him had his staff(including

himself) been more responsible towards the customer. Now I went ahead and

bought a ticket for a much higher price just because I waited on these

utterly irresponsible and Un-ethical people for way too long.


I had taken Sajid and Radha Krishnan into trust when they told me that the

itinerary was confirmed and e-ticket would be issued soon after I make the

payment. They rushed me into making a payment saying that the prices would

go up. It is a shame on them for making someone wait on them for this long.

Additionally, these guys are awesome bluffers and can talk you into

anything. Please be cautious in dealing with them. My recommendation is not

to even consider them as an option to travel even if they were the last ones

on earth.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
