BEST BUYS SERVICE SUCKS!!!

PHILADELPHIA, PA US I have been a customer for Best Buy for a few yrs now and have purchased many things from them.I bought 2 computers from them(1 laptop and 1 desktop)and have had problems with both.They were both top of the line computers as I wanted good computers and not just cheap ones that would not last. My real complaint is about my laptop.I bought it and withing a few month's I started having problems with it and brought it in to them(the geeksquad)for repair.I bought all the extra warranties and protection services for it so I figured it would be ok. I had a 1 yr manufacturers warranty from Compac(HP) and Best Buy's policy is if they can't fix it,they will just replace the computer.So anyway,I had to take the computer back 4 times to them for continuing problems!They replaced the harddisc 1 time,they reflashed it one time,they ran a scan on it another time and said there were viruses in it that they had to remove.The last time,they said they were going to have to send it to HP.i TOLD THEM TO DO WHATEVER THEY HAD TO DO TO GET IT PERMANTELY FIXED!Each time before,the repairs they did only lasted a few month's before it got messed up again. So told me it would take 3-4 weeks to get it to and from HP.i AGREED.Withing a week,they called and said that they got my laptop back from HP and I could pick it up? I went to get it and asked what happened,they said they werent sure what hp did but it says repaired on the slip. It only took a week for the computer to act up again.I couldn't even gain access to the internet.I called them again and told them that I was having a problem again and wanted another computer.They told me to bring it in and they would see if they could fix it!I told them that by now my manufacturers warranty would be up in a couple of weeks and that I wanted another computer before then.I said that they seem to keep prolonging this with temporary repairs and once my warranty was up,I would be screwed! They then told me that I had to deal directly with HP?? I asked them why did I have to do this since I purchased it from them and also extra warranties through them so I didn't have to go through this.They told me that they couldn't do anything else and I would have to deal with HP form then on!!! I did contact HP and was told by them that they had NEVER gotten my laptop in for reapirs from Best Buy! Best Buy lied to me about this! They asked me to send in my laptop to them which I did.They not only agreed that it was un-fixable,but for the inconvenience they upgraded me to a better computer! Thats all Best Buy had to do.Send my laptop in to HP and they could have fixed the problem long ago. I gace Best Buy a chance to resolve this by writing to them about my un-happiness with the whole situation and even wrote to the corporate office.Tbeir reply was that I was beat! They told me that I would just have to keep paying for both of my computers or risk hurting my credit!! Great help and customer service they have!! A multi-million dollar a year company and they couldn't even deal with one customer with one laptop! This shows their lack or dedication to their custmoers and to the suppliers of their products! This not only casts a Black Cloud over the store policies,but to the staff as moral people! I would advise anyone to stay away from Best Buy as they will obviously not support you once you have a problem with their products!
