Nextel Cancellation

I've had poor nextel/sprint service for the past few months .. I havent tried any resolution w/ them because I know how that route goes .. Does anyone know if theirs a way to cancel nextel service w/ out having to pay the early termination fee? Or am I just pain stuck until my contract expires !! Thanks in advance for any replies
