Main Street Mesa, Ar 85201 US http://www.mezonainn.com/ On January 1st, 2008, I made a reservation through AAA at the Best Western Mezona Inn in Mesa, Arizona. Check-in was for February 1st, check-out on February 4th. The cancellation policy stated, "Must be cancelled by 4pm On 01/25/2008." I phoned the Best Western Mezona Inn on January 22nd to cancel that reservation. I was told that the reservation was nonrefundable and that my credit card had already been charged for the full amount. I protested, pointing out that there was no mention of the reservation being nonrefundable when I made it. I was then placed on hold. After a few minutes a different person came on the line without identifying herself. I had to twice ask who she was, she then identified herself as Kathy Hay, General Manager of the Best Western Mezona Inn. She insisted that the reservation was nonrefundable and did not care at all about the stated reservation policy. She was rather rude about it as well.
