HP rip off
|
HP pavilion DV9500z HP.com US www.hp.com I called HP on Dec. 17, 2007 to return of a part of my order. It was HP w2007 20-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor. SInce I decided to purchase a bigger monitor, I didn't need the 20" monitor. After the HP agent processed the return, he checked my order history. He found that one of my order was declined due to a problem with credit card company. He offered a same laptop for the same price ($753.12 including tax). Since it was a good deal, I accepted it. The agent told me that I had to pay the full price ($1006.99 including tax) at that time, but I would get the difference ($253.87) back upon receiving the latop. I think he mentioned $304.50 credit. But I recalculated it and found that the difference is $253,87, not 304.50. Since I havn't received the credit back yet, I called HP. Surprisingly, the HP refused to give me the credit back. A HP agent told me that he couldn't give me credit since the agent that sold a laptop to me gave me a wrong information when I purchased the laptop. I talked to manager. He said same thing. It seems that HP company train their agents like that - sell a computer by ripping customers off. If the two orders are compared, they are same congiuration. There is no reason that I pay $1006.99 for a laptop that I could buy for $753.12. The reason I purchased the laptop was that the HP agent offered the same price and promised to give me credit back for the difference. I have always ordered through online except this order. This order was made through phone since I was offered the deal when I called to return an item. Please let me know if there is a solution for that. Thanks.
