A&E Factory Service

Our Whirlpool dehumidifier (under warranty) stopped working in Nov. 2007. We called the 800 number on the Whirlpool instruction brochure and are automatically connecte with A&E. Since then there have been 7 appointments. They failed to show up on 5. The same person did show up on 2 of the 7. Each time he said that he did not have the right equipment and told us to reschedule. Complaints to A&E bring no result. Complaints to Whirlpool bring no result. In the end I realized that there was no requirement to work with A&E. There are several Whirlpool authorized service providers and we can choose not to deal with A&E.
