Billing problems

I have been battling their billing department for a year. One of my children went to the hospital while in the care of another hospital. That group did not provide Kingwood Medical Center with insurance information. Kingwood Medical Center eventually called me to get the information, which I gave them. For some reason, they never sent the insurance company the proper form.

I called them constantly over a six-month period, so did my insurance company...for SIX MONTHS. They would always say that we will send them right out.

THEY NEVER DID. I recorded names and phone numbers of who we talked to....so did the insurance company.

Incredibly, they never sent it. NOW, after a year's time...now I'm stuck with the bill. My insurance company won't pay it, because it's past the year mark where they are responsible. And, I really don't blame them. It's the hospital's fault.

AND NOW IT"S MY PROBLEM because they REFUSED to sent it to the hospital.
