Norton Antivirus "Rebate"

On or about August 15 2007 I bought a brand new HP Pavilion a6110n Desktop Computer from Office Depot in Reno Nevada, and the Computer had Norton Antivirus "Preinstalled" but it was a trial version. I bought a Full version of Norton "Internet Security 2007 at the same time I purchased the computer.

The "Norton" offered 2 $20.00 rebates with the purchase of their product. I promptly sent in all receipts "Boxtops etc" as requested.

After several months and "Absolutely no contact E-mail or otherwise"..I decided to look up Symantec on the Web and found info about their web, and upon entering my information, found my rebate was refused because "I did not furnish previous ownership of a norton product".."ABSOLUTELY STUPID COMPANY"..So I sent an E-Mmail, and several days later received a reply with an apology for Inconvenience and that it would take another 1 - 2 months for me to get a rebate....And if I would not have checked on the website..good by Rebate???

I recently had lunch with a good friend that related to me their similar experience with their rebate...

...SYMANTEC.....YOUR A LOUSY COMPANY for keeping your word..
