We planned on celebrating the New Years in Makati to watch the fireworks. I myself was bragging to all nephews and nieces how the Pilipinos welcome the New Years. We flew to Palawan Dec 27, Flight # 5J640 with E-Tickets. Our returned flight back to Manila supposedly on Dec 31st, for the family of 13. We were at the airport ready to checked in and we're told the flight # 5J640, 4 P.M. was cancelled and this flight has been cancelled since back in September 2007according from Michelle (pregnant) 6 months ago we have purchased our tickets in cash it was send thru Western Union. This airline failed to notified us since the flight was already cancelled since back in September 2007. Hours of anxiety, stress, frustration tried to get back to Manila. Finally 11 out of 13 was able to get back so biggest problem was my husband and my older brother was left behind it was devastating to all of us because we have planned it 6 months prior to be together and celebrate the coming of the New Year. When we all got in the plane it felt like someone have died because of the Cebu Pacific have done to all of us. On January 2, we were supposed to go to Mindoro and had reservatioon already in Mindorin Beach Resort until on the 5th and we had to cancelled because we would like to solved this issued with the Cebu Pacific. We were not successfuled. We were adviced also to make complaint with the US Embassy in Manila so I will copy this e mail to them after. We are not expecting anything but Cebu Pacific needs to contact us and apologizes due to stress, anxiety, and frustrations. And again we had to cancelled out flight to Mindoro due to this issue.
I do not know what is going to be the outcome of this hopefully someone will read this E Mail and forward to Cebu Pacific. I have research thru the website on Cebu Pacific and no luck. By the way, there were foreigners and other tourist and one lady told us in the plane she curse and yelled at those people Michelle rep. for the Cebu Pacific Airlines due to cancelling the flight without telling us.
Another incident the Cebu Pacific was in the news on January 2 in Manila and said that the flight for Jan 1st (New Years Day) cancelled due to bad weather. That was also a lied we just talked to someone from Palawan stated the weather was nice. Again they were cancelling flights without giving anyone's notice.
Please advice and help us.
