After first sending me a maid who talked on her cell phone the entire time she was on the clock for 3 hours, Miracle Maids offered to send me another maid for 2 hours to make up for the bad experience.


Well, this 2nd experience was even worse. The new maid they sent to finish the work the first maid never completed complained to me she was "tired" and stopped working before meeting the 2 hour commitment. It was outrageous considering I only needed a basic surface cleaning-- this was not a heavy-duty job.


But worse, she damaged a standing mirror in my living room. I wasn't home for the entirety of her 1 1/2 hour visit (and my roommate was sleeping in her bedroom), but the mirror was perfectly in tact before the visit.


Only after she left did I notice a huge crack in the wooden stand. I took pictures and asked that I be refunded for the value of the mirror or for it to be replaced, and AFTER A MONTH OF HOUNDING MIRACLE MAIDS, they finally replied claiming the maid "stated that she never entered the room where the mirror was actually stored." It was in my living room-- she most certainly was "cleaning" near it.


Stay away from Miracle Maids in NY. They certainly do not honor their "satisfaction guarantee" and their customer relations is horrendous.

The truth is:


We arrived at this customer's home and her electricity was shut off due to a billing issue.


We returned at a later time and cleaned to her exact specifications.


Because this is a room mate situation we only cleaned the requested kitchen and bathroom and the room mates private space. The room mate was present and satisfied with the quality of the work.


When this customer called us "unhappy" we gave her 2 additional FREE hours of service right away-- because we believe that we are only in business BECAUSE our customers love us --and we don't want any unhappy customers, so we go the extra mile to make sure they are satisfied -- even if there is no apparent reason for their dissatisfaction. This is our policy.


The mirror that she purposes was damaged was in a room that was never touched. We were specifically asked to NOT clean the living room.


We have thousands of satisfied customers and have been in business for over 25 years. Some of our customers have been on service weekly for over 10 years. We have a 100% satisfaction Guarantee. We have a 100% clean rating with the Better business bureau and have never had an unresolved issue.
