Ocala Lincoln Mercury auto mechanic scam

Another Ocala Lincoln Mercury auto service scam...

I took my fathers recently purchased (not in ocala) Lincoln mark 8 into Ocala Lincoln Mercury for a service recall to

have the back window replaced. After getting the car back I called the service managers attention to the black adhesive

that was spotted all over the side of the car down from the

back window. He became extremely agitated and started to stutter and stammer that it was like that when it came in here. I asked him to look at the other side of the car and on the trunk lid where there was more adhesive also looking at around the window itself where there was more. Finally he gave in and said they would have someone clean it all off. Why not do the right thing and just admit it happened and fix it?
