I am a poor working man making 25,000 with a wife and 3 kids. Back in 2006 I heard about Citizens Energy or 1 800 Joe 4 Oil. Where they give low income familys 100 gal of free oil if you qualify. In 2006 I applied and was accepted with no problem and was given 100 gal of oil by my heating co. This was done in about two weeks from the time I applied to the time I received my oil.

This year in Dec of 07 I applied again, I waited for four week to get an applacation and was told that it was in the mail. I was then told Jan 7 that because of Christmas mail it would be late. I went to there web site and this time down loaded an applaction and mailed it back to them. I called a week later about Jan 14 and was told again I was approved. Every time it seemed I would get some person that didnt understand what was going on.

My oil dealer called around Jan 20 and told me I was approved and he could deliver the oil as soon as I get the voucher from Citizens Energy. I again called Citizens Energy at the end of Jan 08 and was told I was approved but they mail their vouchers out in bulk and only do this a few times a week.

As of Feb 27, I have not received any voucher and my oil co keeps waiting for me to call and tell them I received the voucher to deliver the oil.

I know its a free program, and I am greatful for the help I received in 2006, but if you can help me please let me know and dont keep me waiting for help that does not come.
