Circuit City Nightmare Customer Service Store 3111 Sburg IL

Nightmare experience at Circuit City. Purchasing a HP monitor on 2/16 and the monitor was not working correctly. The resolution was bad so I returned it for another. Circuit City did not have another HP monitor in stock. They would not refund the money because I wrote a check and had to wait 14 days. There would be a 15% restocking fee?? For a monitor that was not working properly? Store manager would not do anything about the issue. Actually he said he was the store manager however later found out he was not. I called the store manager but did not get a response. Contacted circuit city customer service three times. No response except to tell me now I am past the return policy date? It has not even been 14 days yet! Are they serious. Various emails phone calls with no resolve. Now I am stuck with a 200.00 HP monitor they are now telling me I cannot return at all? Even with the 15% restocking fee? I would suggest Best Buy. Circuit city has been documented all over the internet for their poor customer service and lack of follow through. Listen to these posts they are correct. My next stop-yes the better business bureau. Beware!
