COMPLAINT ON SCHUMACHER

Hello,

I would like to file a complaint with Schumacher Electric Corporation on the following: I purchased a Schumacher welder Model 93090 90 amp wirefeed with the gas convertion kit which is an extra accessory. I have $500.00 dollars invested in this

welder and have only used it twice on a project of mine. I have contacted Schumacher about replacement parts for this welder which is very common due to the welding nozzles wear out as do other parts. Schumacher told me that they no longer service

these welders and plasma cutters and have discontinued these products. They told me a company named TWECO used most of their parts to assemble this welder and to try with them to get parts. I haven't received a reply from TWECO about parts yet. I

invite you to go online and do a search on Schumacher Electric. Then select welders and try to purchase my model 93090. They are still selling these welders and other companies are selling them also. After complaining to Schumacher customer service

and telling them I was getting a lawyer they happened to find a box of 30 nozzles. I'm trying to purchase 5 extra nozzles for $5.50 each from Schumacher. The welder is useless without replacement parts. When the nozzle wears out or gets clogged it

needs to be replaced. I feel that I invested $500.00 in a welder that you can't get parts for which makes the welder useless. They are still selling these welders and other companies as well and people are getting screwed by buying them due to no

parts being available or service center. Please look into this Companies foul business practice. I'm stuck with a welder I can't get parts for and out $500.00. Let me know what can be done about this. Schumacher Electric should at least provide me a

contact for getting parts. Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to hearing back from you.

just to let you know,i have a plasma cutter that was also disconned so basically to buy consumables you would need to go through the torch manufacturer ,even if the unit wasnt discontinued u still have to buy from the torch manufcturer not the machine,even new ones .tweco,abicor binzel,ect make the torches and consumables and will never be discontinued as long as your machine still works u can always get consumables for it good luck dooood
