McDonalds more than doubles a price.

I went to a McDonalds last week and ordered a Sausage McMuffin with Egg. When the voice at the drive through told me they were $2.19, I assumed she was a new employee and perhaps not familiar with the menu or her job. A few days later, I went to to the drive through at a McDonalds in Colorado Springs and ordered my favorite sandwich again. I was quoted $2.19 again. When I challenged this, the voice at the other end responded "The menu says nothing about an egg on the value menu." Apparently McDonalds has raised the price from $1.00 to $2.19! I know eggs went up in price but I look at $1.19 times 12 and a dozen egss did not go up $14.28. Then again, the oil companies get away with it and McDonalds is McDonalds so I'll find another place for breakfast.
