Update - On 3/3/08 the manager contacted me to say that he had secured both a dresser and an armoire for me. I went into the store that evening and paid for them (less the 15% coupon they did honor). The furniture will be delivered on 3/7/08. Hallelujiah!

I did hear back from the manufacturer. These products are exclusive to Babies R Us.

This was my initial problem:

I tried to order 3 pieces of furniture, the crib, armoire, and dresser, but was told that only the crib was available, but the other items would be in on 01/09/08. It is now almost March and after numerous phone calls and speaking with manager, they can only say that the item is overselling and they cannot say when they will have the dresser and armoire. Yet the samples are still on the sales floor, and were featured in a sales catalog at BOGO 15% off. Sale ended on 2/24/08.

Spoke with corporate customer service today and the rep searched 20 stores and couldn't find it in anyone's inventory and had the audacity to ask me if the store had said if there was a manufacturing problem. Shouldn't they know that info already? What kind of customer service is that? They had no remedy other than telling me to contact my local store again.

Tracked down the manufacturer of the furniture, but this style appears to be exclusive to Babies R Us. None of their other retailer has this color, so sent the manufacturer an email asking if there's any other way to get it. If there is not, then I am just stuck with waiting on Babies R Us and will be very, very angry.
