COUNTRYWIDE HOME LOANS - HELOC FROM HELL

I am a Countrywide customer with a Heloc loan with them. First they screw up on their billing cycles and now are making me pay for this freezing my cash advances for six months in the middle of our project to add 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to our home. I would appreciate any info provided to what steps I can take to get this freeze removed so we can finish our project. They told me it will be 6 months before they remove the freeze but they will gladly help me take another equity loan which to me it does not make sense. Why not remove the freeze from the current loan I have? Why should I pay points, closing costs etc for another equity loan when I already have one? They are worthless, I can not get an answer from anybody, I sent letters but no reply yet and over the phone they tell me the same story. I am looking at other options right now but it pisses me off that being a customer for almost 17 years with them they are treating me like this.
