For the past two-three years, we have been billed for a second digital receiver (and "Additional Integrated Interactive Service") every month. We do not, nor have we *ever*, had more than one digital receiver. My wife called last month (January '08) to have this corrected, and was told that research would be done into the error and an adjustment made. We are being improperly billed (per month) $2.00 for an additional receiver, and $3.00 a month for an additional "integrated interactive service). The new bill came through yesterday (received 2/15/08), and the additional charges are still present. I called the 888-Get-Charter number and waited for a rep to come online. After asking for my number, I was put on hold and the call was dropped. I called back, and apparently went to a call center in India. After explaining the issue to the representative, the rep simply repeated that we had two receivers. There seemed to be a great deal of confusion as to what the issue was. This call was also dropped (am I being hung up on?). I called back a third time and again, and talked to a third representative. After explaining the billing issue (again), the representative set up a service visit (work order #46933722) to "verify that we only have one receiver." The technician showed up this morning (02/16/08) and seemed confused as to why a service call was set up. He verified the receiver that we have and called it in and had a note put on the account. The technician then instructed me to call billing again to have an adjustment made. I called again after the tech's visit and talked to Oliver, who insisted we have two receivers. I explained that this was an error and assured him that we only have one receiver. He explained that "research" has to be completed before any adjustment can be made. I explained that we were told that this "research" was to be done last month with no results. I asked for a confirmation number for this new "research" and he gave me a form ID (EQUIP 4748770). I was told it would take three business days to complete. I have a number of issues with the customer service I've received: * I am currently being billed for equipment I do not possess. Apparently I have been charged this extra amount for a number of years. * There appears to be no accountability or responsiveness to a billing issue. Is there no call tracking or problem tickets tracking problems? * Customer service received has been horrible. I have been hung up on repeatedly whether inadvertently or otherwise. There has been no response to prior calls we've placed regarding this billing issue. I will be attempting to contact Charter Communications management via whatever means is available (email, contact forms), as well as placing a complaint with the city of Ellisville (my local franchising authority) and the Better Business Bureau. I have had minimal problems with the products, but billing and customer service has been extremely frustrating.

Haha..I have been hung up on and reassured that my check is in the mail.Charter had taken money out of my account 2x in one month and because of it I have an overdraft on my checking account.I have already spoke with 5 paople about this and not a one seems to care or even get me someone of a higher authority...it's just simply been hang ups or thank you for choosing charter...good night.This company should have been gone a long time ago with all of their uncorrect billing but it seems that there is no one willing to get involved.

I am about to report Charter communications to the BBB if I do not get my refund check, can you re post letting me know what your out come was.
