DVD a.k.a. ultimatevds.com None available unknown, not available on website, So unknown US now known as tvdvdworld.tv Please beware of this website. I have been fighting them since I placed my first and only order with them. On 2007/12/08 I ordered The complete TV series of Beauty and the Beast which had 3 seasons on air on CBS. The advertised price was $43.99 plus $19.19 shipping cost for a total of $63.18. The charge was posted to my credit card on 2007/12/10 which was supposed to be the same as the shipping date, but the total charge was for $70.32 which is a difference of $7.14. I tried to call them , but the phone number listed on the website was only a recording stating no on was available at this time. I then tried their live chat with a customer service person and was connected ans so I asked why the added amount had been charged to my credit card and she responded that was because of what their bank charged for processing the transaction. I explain to her that this was not posted anywhere on the website and that the fee was not my to bear. She assured me the charge would be refunded. As of today 20008/02/15 I still have yet to receive that refund. The stated delivery date of my order was advertised between 12-14 days, not business days, just simply 12-14 days. This is significant because it was meant to be a Christmas gift. This did not happen, so I went back to the live chat assistant and was given a specific time of arrival on either 2007/12/20 or 2007/12/21. These dates came and went without delivery of my order, so I went and made the purchase through Wal-Mart online. The parcel finally arrived on 2007/12/31 way past the date promised and I no longer needed nor wanted the parcel, so I refused the parcel and expected it to be shipped back to the company it was purchased from. I both sent an email and used the live chat assistant to inform them of this and expected a refund posted to my credit card. Of the many emails I have sent only twice have I ever got a response and their live chat assistant is never available on their website now. Remember in this process this company change their website address, remove a phone contact, and will not respond to emails. It gets worse. I filed a complaint with my credit card company and yes there are forms to fill out along with documentation necessary. More headaches not because of my credit card, but because of this disreputable internet company. They guarantee anything purchased from them and returned within 30 days that you will receive a 100% money back guarantee no questions ask. Sounds good, but all smoke and mirrors. 30 days come and go and no response from my repeated attempts to this company and why I have not be given a refund back on my credit card. Well here is the rub of it, this shister of a company cannot be located to return the parcel to. How do I know this? I contacted the carrier,Canada Post directly, and low and behold they still have the parcel. Why might you ask? The parcel is sitting in what they call their UMO. or Undeliverable mail office. They have been most helpful to me in this process and here is why. The credit card puts the burden of proof on you the customer because you must be able to show that the shipper received the parcel back before any refund will be posted to your account. Canada Post has been kind enough to not only fax a tracking notice, but also has taken the time to verify they have possession of the parcel stated in asigned letter. The internet company is nowhere to be found to return the parcel to. All I know is that they are somewhere in the country of Canada. The credit card will accept the faxes as proof therefore providing me with a refund which is all I am asking for,but here is the sweet part, once the credit card refunds my account and the internet company contacts to find out why is where the internet company will have to come out of hiding. The way my credit card explain the process is simple. They already know the bank the internet company uses and where they contact my credit card bank they will have to provide them with a valid physical address to get their parcel sent to them from Canada Post. My advice stay away from this site. It has been a nightmare. I have used the internet to purchase items many times and never have had any problem until now. I hope this helps save any unsuspecting customer from my nightmare.
