To whom it may concern,
On Feb. 10, 2008 I purchased a camera from Brad Thomas and his wife. I was told by his wife that they had a family owned business in Pottstown, Pa for a long time. I was told I had 30 days to return the camera if I wasn't satisfied or had any problems. I was also told that they would warranty it for a year if I had any problems I could simply send back the camera and they would send a new one. When I got the camera home I didn't like the camera's joystick and how it worked and also the camera wouldn't hold the setting when turned off. I called the phone # on the card I was given on Feb. 11, 2008 and got an answering machine and didn't receive a call back. I e-mailed Brad on Feb. 12, 2008 and I did get a response. I told him I wasn't satisfied with the camera and wanted to return it to their place of business for a cash refund (which is how I paid, as the wife knocked of a few bucks for cash). Their place of business is only 30 minutes from me. I was told I had to mail the camera back because their is rarely anyone at their place of business. Well if there is nobody at the place of business how will they receive the camera and how can I get my refund in a timely manner? Also, if I send this camera back how do I know I will get a refund. I could be out the camera and the cash. Pretty good scam. I hope you can post online and it will keep someone else from being cheated. If you buy anything at these shows pay by credit card not cash! I am going to get in touch with the organizer of these events to let them know how these people operate as they give the other vendors a bad reputation I know we will warn everyone we know about this.
Feeling Pretty Duped In PA From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 14-Feb-08 08:57:18 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisI knew Brad Thomas well. He was an alcoholic, drug user, womanizer, cheat and thief. The world is far, far better off without this guy. His wife, Tina, was smart to finally leave him. Discount what Thomas' daughter says and thinks. She's wrong.
