Natural Cures robbing my account

When I ordered the Natural Cures book by Kevin Trudeau, in addition to =

paying for the book, their organization deducted unauthorized payments =

from my bank account. I sent them several emails instructing them to =

cancel any membership subscription they had signed me up for. I phoned the =

number they provided but encountered a robo response. Ignoring my =

instructions, they have charged my account every month for several months. =

I instructed my bank to stop these unauthorized charges, but Natural Cures =

circumvented the bank's safety net by adding numbers to their name each =

time they made a deduction. I have had to go through a lot of trouble to =

change my bank account number since this appears to be the only way I can =

stop their monthly deductions.

This organization exhibits some of the factors that define a cult. They =

are creating a community online and instigating fear of the government--tou=

ting that their leader is the only one telling the truth and that the =

government he is fighting is involved in a grand conspiracy to harm =

consumers. They bring members in through deceptive tactics and, as in my =

case, will not allow them to leave when they want to. They coerce money =

from people without providing corresponding value of services, and their =

leader campaigns to alienate consumers from the valid agencies that are =

protecting them while presenting himself, a dangerous scam artist, as the =

true protector of consumers.

Kevin Trudeau may not be afraid of consumer protection agencies since he =

has so much money to fight them. But he had better not underestimate the =

power of the consumers to protect themselves via a grassroots mobilization =

of exposure of this unethical organization via the Internet and contacting =

venues that sell his books.

Kevin Trudeau has had many problems with the law, because of fraud and larceny. His Natural Cures book is one of the most contriversial pieces of garbage out there. If you do some research you will learn that he just uses the book to preach his ridiculous beliefs and his website. He makes claims of curing cancer and other terrible diseases, but gives no information on how this is possible. A line from the book is "If your body is alkaline, you cannot get cancer. . .and if you have cancer, it goes away." He's a con man. A very successful con man.
