Pioneer Natural Pools

Looks can be deceiving even in Pools!!! Pioneer pools are very unique & beautiful but looks are not everything & it is the quality of the product in the end that counts. Pioneer designed & built our family one of the most beautiful pools I have ever seen & rightfully so because we paid a fortune for it. The project was almost complete & we had one final payment to make to Pioneer Pools so we put the payment in escrow in Pioneers name to be received upon completion of the job. Alot of issues occured toward the end of the project such as the plaster having large stains all over it which was the fault of Pioneer Pools. We also have a leak in the pool, lights that don't work & a hot tub that does not work at all. Andrea (the owner of Pioneer pools) informed us at that point that it was all covered under warranty & not to worry he would take care of everything. Then Andrea came out to our home to inspect the warranty work that needed to be done that was when everything changed. Oh, in Pioneers defense they did come out & try to acid wash the stains off the plaster which did not work & than we never saw them again. He refused to take the last payment from us which in turn voided the warranty because he found out the warranty work was going to cost him alot more money than the amount of the last payment we owed him. He then put a mechanics lean on our home to make it look like we refused to pay him & voided the warranty. Pretty slimey business tactics if you ask me. Please do not be fooled by the owner he will promise you the world & not deliver it. Apparently customer service, positive word of mouth, & using us as a good referal are not important to Pioneer Pools. Pioneer gets in, does the job & gets out in the blink of an eye but buyer be ware its what they do after the pool is in & you already paid for it. We have been in contact with other customers of Pioneers who have major issues that Pioneer has not resolved with them either our question is why haven't our testamonials been posted on Pioneers web site? DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!!!

I think we can safely assume that any positive reviews of Andrea Sardelli pools are written by his friends....

Our experience was a nightmare and we ended up having to hire a lawyer to force Sardelli to simply complete the job right. Our experience with his pool company (called "Town and Country Pools" in Colorado) was a disaster from the beginning, when the hole was dug. First, he claimed to be an 'Anthony Pool' builder to give him credibility, but he was not. That was a lie. The whole story is too painful to revisit here so suffice it to say no step of the job was done right. The shallow end of the pool was dug much too deep, requiring pouring more concrete on top of the already dry concrete, we got the wrong diving board, the tile chipped, the whole deck chipped up and had to be redone, they installed the wrong ladder, etc, etc, etc. That Andrea had or still has a drinking and gambling problem is not hard to believe.

There were more unfortunate folks in the Denver area who made their payment and were left with a big hole in the ground. We are amazed and disappointed to see that he is still in business. (Also, search his cattle rustling history on the Net....selling cattle that were not his....seriously.) Be warned and be wise in choosing your pool builder.

Last year I hired Mr. Andrea Sardelli of Pioneer Natural Pools to construct a pool for my home. Personally, I'm very satisfied with my entire experience with the company to this day. When it came to the design, I was shown a wide array of possibilities. I went with a custom design that was created to my specifications and personal requests. During the construction process, everything went very smoothly. Andrea and his crew were all very pleasant and professional. They finished the job with no complications and within the estimated time Andrea told me it would take. After all was done with, I had a gorgeous pool that has been the highlight of my home since it's completion. The attention to detail and the quality of the work is top-notch. Also, the customer service is very reliable. I'm always able to reach Andrea or a helpful company employee to answer any question or assist me with any problem that may occur. If there is a problem, I can always expect an immediate response and resolution. I'm positive I made the right choice to go with Pioneer Natural Pools when making such a significant investment.

This individual is being running from lawsuit from State to State and even in foreign countries. This individual was in NY, Washington, Texas, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Island, Virgin Gorda and other Caribbean Island. He is now in NY again scamming people.

I sue this guy in 2001 in Puerto Rico and he left within months of the lawsuit. This guy is always on the move. Don't be confused about his old age. He is being around for a long time and can BS a lot of people. Don't let this individual touch your house or built your swimming pool.

I am a homeowner in Orange County NY and hired Mr. Sardelli in July 2009 to build our family pool. I have to say not only did he exceed my expectations, but he worked with us throughout the whole process. Mr. Sardelli built us a beautiful pool and worked within our budget. I was not home a lot at the time due to a family emergency, but Mr. Sardelli was there everyday handling his business and proved himself as a consumate professional. It took a lot of weight off my shoulders knowing that things were getting done without me being there every step of the way as my head was in another place. There was a problem with the pools finish but Mr. Sardelli made good on it and fixed it for us. He warranties his work! I can't say a bad thing about Mr. Sardelli or his company because their wormanship speaks for itself. There is not a single person that enters my backyard including my landscapers who also build pools,that is not in awe. I am sorry to hear about all the complaints regarding Mr. Sardelli, however I can only speak for myself. The man treated me and my family with respect and honesty, and that is all I can ask for. I can honestly say that I would absolutely recommend Pioneer Natural Pools to anyone and I have.

I guess I am in a long line behind many that cannot say anything nice about Mr. Sardelli. He also used my business as a subcontractor for a pool he was constructing. He refused to pay my bills and even after judgments have been filed against him he dodges them. He should be ashamed not only of the business person he is, but the human being in general. I have warned many and will continue to give character references of his business practices. I can only hope people consult the internet before hiring him, it certainly says alot!

I just read your complaint. I did not have a pool put in by Pioneer Pools, but my company was hired by Andrea Sardelli, representing Pioneer Natural Pools, to haul stone from Idaho to his company's yard in New York. 2 loads were hauled in March and I have yet to see payment, even after repeated phone calls and even a letter from my lawyer. I understand that the stone company that sold the loads to him have yet to be paid also, and other trucking companies have outstanding invoices from much earler than mine. Watch out for this company!!

We know who you are, due to the fact that we have never had a complaint against myself Andrea Sardelli, or Pioneer Natural Pools. We have constructed you the most beautiful pool that was ever built under the sun, wich you do not deserve or could afford. My mistake was to accomodate you by completing the pool ahead of time for your family reasons, which you know, and not collecting the payments that were due as per our contract. After that you paid us in nickels and dimes. To the best of my knowledge you could not afford the pool and could not meet your commitment to this company. We have tried in every aspect to satisfy you, but have realized that is impossible! We have a complete record of every thing that we have done to try to accomodate you, we have a complete file, including a closed case from the better business bureau who knows that we did everything we could. It is never going to be enough for you. We know that you are being advised by trash (we know who he is, and he should take care of his own problems like the $15,000.00 he owes in child support!). We did return your $9,000.00 that was in escrow, because we knew we could never satisfy you no matter what we did. At that point we realized who we were dealing with. Pioneer Natural Pools stands behind all of our work!
