ERECTION OF CARPORT STRUCTURE

I approached this firm to erect a double carport at my premises. Out of a total of 7 quotes they were the beter and more realistical quote. Although they could not meet their own target starting date they arrived the following day and started with the job. The job was completed the same day. The members worked till 10:30 that night. At that time the outstanding 50% of the price was transferred by means of an internet payment. The next day I saw some deficiencies that I wanted them to attend to and rectify. After various unsucessfull calls and setting up a target date to make arrangements for them to meet me at a buyer/seller level, I had no response. Being a freelance photographer I took photos and would like to post them on the net to prewarn any other buyer not to make use of them. (Please inform me if there is a facility to post these photos). Which direction should I follow with this query of mine.

mr.may also qouted me and after paying 50% deposit into his account september 2009 he never showed to complete the job.

i ran an article in the cape argus action, and he promised to pay my money back, but nothing yet.

he also told me that he used my money to rent a place for his family because they were about to be out on the street.

i would like to warn people not to do bbusiness with this man.

I also accepted their quote and deposited 50% into Mr May's bankaccount on 23/9/2009. After several empty promises the job has still not been done and I therefore had to lay a complaint at the Civil Claims Office. The best advice is to lay a charge and get legal action...! Never again will I make use of the services of Duroports - No service at all and you can't them!
