DELL HELL

Dell Studio 17 Laptop Dell US www.dell.com I have fallen into Dell Hell. I recently bought two, expensive, Studio 17 Dell laptops. I have had problems with both but what really makes me furious is the horrific customer service response to my problems. I have probably spent over 50 hours on the phone with Dell and spent a couple of hundred extra dollars with Dell paying for support for the software installed on the computer. I didn't realize that even with the first 90 days Dell does not provide free software support and you can't go back to the software company because the software was bought and installed by Dell. The new computers come with Dell Datasafe. They have a pop up that comes up continually trying to force you to purchase the upgraded service. It takes over the bottom right hand side of the computer, and there's no way to close it other than to respond to it. I spent dozens of emails, phone calls, and chats, to get it removed, since it seriously slows me up when it happens, besides making me furious at the unethical approach Dell takes to force you to purchase their products. Last week, in the middle of a deadline-crush, I spent almost an hour with a Dell technician (very pleasant), and we got it removed. Only to have it show up again today. Anybody up for a class action lawsuit with me to force them to stop their unethical approach to doing business?
